...Two newly renovated & eco-friendly vintage 40's-era cottages located on the banks of the Guadalupe River. Property offers a two minute stroll through privately owned, wooded riverbottom to a spectacular, secluded  riverfront. Each cottage sleeps 4, with a double-size bed, a twin sleeper or futon, and twin aero-bed. Amenities include: satellite TV, a DVD player, Wi-Fi, fully-furnished kitchens & breakfast items are provided. A firepit/grill is available for use in the backyard.

'The Blue Heron' cottage is totally re-built from the inside/out using zero VOC paint, a tankless water heater and recycled blue-jean insulation! Relish the comforts of brand new furniture, cabinets, appliances and a fully furnished kitchen. Sleeps (4) with a double-size bed in the bedroom and a twin-size sleeper sofa in the living room. Twin-size Aero-bed provided, if needed. The large, terraced yard is completely fenced, has a lovely view of the woods and offers maximum privacy.  Double occupancy rates $110/night-$650/week- $1500/mo.

'The Hummingbird' cottage is newly refurbished using zero VOC paint and recycled blue-jean insulation! The vaulted ceilings and numerous windows add to the bright, cheery atmosphere of this little cottage. Sleeps (4) with a double-size bed in the bedroom and a double-size futon in the living room. Fully furnished kitchen. The comfortable cabana-style back porch offers a built-in firepit and a fabulous view of the wooded river bottom. The yard is completely fenced. Double occupancy rates $95/night- $550/week- $1200/mo.                   

Come to enjoy the abundance of nature....do some birding, watch the deer and other wildlife while you relax in the inviting backyard (Certified Backyard Wildlife Habitat), or stroll to the river for a rejuvenating afternoon in or near the water!

We are conveniently located within walking distance of many shops, grocery stores and local restaurants.

The Bird's Nest Guest Cottages are dog friendly.          

• $95-$110 night/2 people  (+13% tax)
• $15/night ea. additional person       
• $550- $650 week/2 people            
• $1200-$1500 month/2 people  (+ $300 deposit)
• DOG FEE ~ $15/night; $75/week; $150/month (2 dogs max.)
• (2 week cancellation policy)
• (minimum 2 night stay on summer weekends and holidays)
• Cottage to be left in same condition as when you arrive,

          otherwise a CLEANING FEE of $30 and any damages

          will be charged to your credit card.
